Americans face many health challenges and ODTAA is focused on encouraging organ donation. As humanitarians we also see the need for assistance around the world.

When medical supplies become available at no cost to the association we will, as humanitarians, provide these items to medically indigent people in need around the globe.

Through the generous donation of medical supplies ODTAA has been able to support medical programs in the following countries:

• In Uganda, Makerere University Health Services needed our help to support both students and the surrounding communities. Without the assistance of the Makerere University Hospital many would suffer. We are very happy that we have been able to aid their efforts with much needed medicines.

• In Uganda, the Pediatric Infectious Disease Clinic (PIDC) provides care and support for children with AIDS. In addition to seeing children at the hospital they also have satellite clinics allowing people to be treated closer to their homes. ODTAA is proud to have the opportunity to support their programs with essential medicines.

• In Vietnam, ODTAA was able to arrange medical equipment, including wheelchairs, walkers and crutches for distribution to children and the elderly.
  
  
• In the Philippines, ODTAA was able to arrange medical equipment, including hospital beds, anaesthesia machines and surgical supplies for a number of rural medical centers.
